The only difference between a successful man and an unsuccessful man is the successful man didn’t give up after his last failure.
Success is earned. It’s not a thing that we hold in our hand.
It’s a state of being, like happiness. Or madness. We earn that state by doing whatever it takes to get there. And, by not letting up.
When we buy a pencil, the pencil is ours. We can hold it in our hand and make a place for it on our desk for the rest of our lives.
Success does not work like that. It’s not tangible.
Success is a feeling, and feelings require work to obtain as well as meticulous effort to retain.
Then again, so is failure.
